KYIV, Dec 24 – The National Commission of Ukraine for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) granted a license to OGTS, a newly created gas shipper, to operate the country’s gas pipelines from January 1, 2020.

The move comes as a step in unbundling process in line with the European Energy Community’s Third Energy Package, and comes ahead of an agreement with Russia’s Gazprom on gas transit.
