KYIV, Dec 18 – President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has said he views the clashes over land bills, which occurred in the center of Kyiv on Tuesday, as a manifestation of "the old elites'" resistance to the reforms of the new authorities.

"The land bill rally is making political demands; this is not the voice of farmers. Both the protesters and the police have been hurt because of that," Zelensky said in a statement posted on his Telegram channel on Tuesday night.
