KYIV, Nov 21 – Transshipment of grain in the seaports of Ukraine for almost 11 months of 2019 exceeded the indicator for the whole year of 2018 by 6.1 million tons and is, according to recent data, more than 46 million tons, according to the website of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

Compared to last year, the total grain transshipment capacity in ports increased by 9% and amounted to about 85 million tons per year.

According to the report, the authority is actively cooperating with businesses to increase the capacity for transshipment of agricultural cargo in ports: this fall, an agreement has been achieved between the state and businesses on the implementation of two investment projects in this sector.
