KYIV, Nov 7 – The Ukroboronprom state concern is ready to provide its own production facilities for organizing production of spare parts for the European automotive industry by private companies, similar to the project of U.S. Aptiv Plc with state-owned enterprise (SOE) Production Association Karpaty (Ivano-Frankivsk), which is a member of the concern, and SOE Electrical Systems (Vinnytsia), Ukroboronprom Director General Aivaras Abromavicius has said.

"Ukroboronprom today has 137 enterprises. These are thousands of hectares of land and tens of thousands of buildings, millions of square meters of often unused capacity. There are enterprises that do not need such capacities now, and therefore many enterprising managers create the conditions for the arrival of private companies, including on a tolling scheme, on long-term contracts, for auto parts," Abromavicius said during the third Ukrainian Auto Forum in Kyiv on Thursday.
