KYIV, Oct 28 – Ukraine will be able to sell state assets in the spirit sector after lawmakers approve legislation on de-monopolization of the industry next week, a top official at President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s office said Monday.

"The privatization of Ukrspyrt will bring us at least UAH 5 billion," Yulia Kovaliv, the Deputy Head of the Office of the President, said.

Kovaliv recalled that last week, the president introduced a bill on the demonopolization of alcohol production in the country to the Verkhovna Rada.
