KYIV, Oct 24 – Operator of the Gas Transmission System of Ukraine (OGTSU) and Tetra Tech (the United States), implementing the energy security project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), have signed a memorandum of cooperation.

According to the OGTSU, assistance will be provided in updating the results of studies on the modernization of gas transit and storage in Ukraine, the development of legislative amendments for transition from metric (cubic meters) to energy (kW) units for operations in the gas sector, preparation of specifications for SCADA and EDM systems for the gas transmission system, developing proposals for reforming the procurement process.
