NUR-SULTAN, Oct 23 – Kazakhstan's coal industry is incurring $11 million in losses a month while coping with Russian restrictions on coal supply to the Ukrainian market, the Kazakh Ministry of Trade and Integration said in a statement.
"The ban on transportation of some types of Kazakh goods via Russia has an adverse impact on the commercial activities of Kazakhstan's coal mining companies. Monthly losses from the imposed restrictions on coal supplies to the Ukrainian market reach more than $11 million," the statement said.
