NEW YORK, Aug. 10 - Moody's Investors Service placed the Ba3 foreign currency corporate family rating and the Ba2 senior unsecured foreign currency rating of Naftogaz Ukrayiny on review for possible downgrade, the rating agency announced.

The action was taken after recent statements made by the Ukrainian government about the financial future of the company, Moody's said in a press release.
