KYIV, Oct 17 – President Volodymyr Zelenskiy sought political support and boosting trade at a meeting with Latvian Prime Minister Krisjanis Karins on Thursday, his press service reported.

"This visit is very important for us. Today, our priority is ending the war. And it is very important for us to have assistance of Europe, our friends who jointly and honestly support us," the president's press service quotes Zelenskiy as saying during the meeting on Wednesday evening.
