KYIV, Oct 15 – Private joint-stock company HeidelbergCement Ukraine (Dnipro), which owns Kryvy Rih, Kamiansky and Amvrosiyivka cement plants, seeks to replace conventional fuel in production of cement by alternative by 5-15% in five years, the company has told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Preliminarily, the replacement of conventional fuel by 5-15% is planned in a five-year period. However, the use of alternative fuel depends on many components: the formation of legislation for the introduction of the alternative fuel, the formation of the alternative fuel market, the quality of alternative fuel, price and other things," HeidelbergCement Ukraine said.
