KYIV, Oct 11 – Romania has confirmed the provision of guaranteed capacities for gas delivery to Ukraine in the amount of 4.1 million cubic meters a day from January 1, 2020, Director General of Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine LLC (TSO of Ukraine) Serhiy Makohon said.

"Yesterday a meeting in Brussels led the European Commission was held. We received final confirmation from the Romanian side that from January 1 they are ready to provide guaranteed gas supply capacities through the Trans-Balkan gas pipeline to the Romania-Ukraine border in the amount of 4.1 million cubic meters per day This is about 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year," he said during the 5th Ukrainian Gas Forum held in Kyiv.
