WASHINGTON, Oct 11 – Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch was removed as ambassador after insisting that U.S. President Donald Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani's requests to Ukrainian officials for investigations be relayed through official channels, the Associated Press reported.
An ex-diplomat who discussed this situation with Yovanovitch told AP the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine was removed from her post after insisting that the request for Ukrainian officials to investigate Hunter Biden, the son of former U.S. vice president Joe Biden, be conveyed in accordance with a long established protocol.
