KYIV, Oct 11 – Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deineko reported the service plans to purchase almost 20 patrol boats at the expense of a loan from the French government under the guarantees of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers if the parties reach an agreement.
"If there are funds, we would very much like to update our ship-boat fleet. There are a number of projects, in particular, for the purchase of such boats from France. Perhaps due to a loan from the French government against the guarantees of our government. If we can solve this, it will give us the opportunity to purchase about 20-22 boats," he told the journalists.
