KYIV, Sept 19 – The Ukrainian regulatory framework governing the gas sector can be honed and brought into full compliance with European regulation before the next trilateral talks, said CEO of Naftogaz Ukrayiny Andriy Kobolev.

"Before the next round of talks in October, there is a lot of 'homework' to improve the legislation. It is necessary to make up for the time that was wasted while inventing 'unique wheels.' But the experience of effective cooperation in the process of agreeing on the working mechanism of unbundling over the past three weeks is very inspiring: if such an approach is used to bring Ukrainian regulation in the gas sector in full compliance with the European one – we'll do everything on time and efficiently," he wrote on Facebook on September 19.
