KYIV, Aug 23 – The privatization of the Ukroboronprom state concern will not affect the level of corruption in the industry, but it will weaken the state's defense, the former deputy commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General, and now technical director of the defense company Ramzai, Volodymyr Shatov, said.
"At Ukroboronprom, first of all, it is important to restructure incapable enterprises that do not pay taxes and salaries, do not create jobs or occupy excess areas. This will allow promising plants to develop and raise the technological level," the expert said in an interview with Interfax -Ukraine.
