KIEV, Aug. 2 ??“ Serhiy Tyhypko, the chairman and the owner of TAS-Kommerzbank, on Wednesday announced plans to sell the bank by early next year, or much sooner than had been earlier expected.

Tyhypko is the latest owner of a bank that has now been pushing to sell business after a number of Western banks had entered the market increasing the competition.
