KYIV, July 25 – UDP Renewables, part of the Ukrainian investment group UFuture, has put into commercial operation the Scythia Solar-2 (Skifiya Solar-2) solar power plant with a capacity of 33.1 MW in Melitopol (Zaporizhia region).

Investments in the project amounted to EUR21.58 million, the press service of the company said.

As reported, UDP Renewables on March 1, 2019 commissioned the Scythia Solar-1 plant with a capacity of 13 MW worth EUR 10.1 million in Zaporizhia region. Thus, the investment in the two stages stood at EUR 31.68 million.
