KYIV, July 24 – There are no reasons to postpone the trilateral Ukraine-Russia-EU meeting to discuss gas transit after 2019 after the completion of elections to the Parliament, but technical consultations should be held before it, Yuriy Vitrenko, the executive director of Naftogaz Ukrainy, has said.
"The main thing is that before such a meeting it is necessary to hold consultations at a technical level with Gazprom and experts from the European Commission to prepare a draft interconnection agreement and discuss options for capacity reservation between Gazprom and the operator of the Ukrainian GTS or a gas swap contract between Gazprom and Naftogaz," he said on Facebook.
