KYIV, July 23 – The number of agrarian holdings in Ukraine declined from 93 to 85 in 2018, the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UAC) has said.
According to the report, the aggregate land bank, which is processed by agroholdings, also decreased from 5.95 million hectares in 2017 to 5.62 million hectares in 2018. However, according to the association, it is more representative that the land bank of 15 largest companies also decreased from 3.3 million hectares in 2017 to 3.2 million hectares in 2018.
The union noted that agricultural holdings remain, as before, the most productive segment of Ukrainian agricultural producers.
