KYIV, June 27 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny expects a Stockholm arbitration decision on the tariff revision for the gas transit contract with Russia's Gazprom before November 2021, the group's consolidated report said on Thursday.

"On July 6, 2018, Naftogaz submitted a Request for Arbitration to the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce seeking for tariff revision in the Gas Transit Contract for the period 2009-2019. Preliminary monetary claim is estimated at US$11.580 billion. Gazprom has submitted its answer on August 14, 2018, rejecting Naftogaz's claim. Upon request from Gazprom, on September ,6 2018, the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Board made a decision to consolidate both cases to the consolidated arbitration case. According to the agreed procedural schedule, the final award in the consolidated arbitration shall be rendered by November 1 2021," it said.
