VIENNA, June 26 – The Supreme Court of Austria (Oberste Gerichtshof, OGH) on Tuesday upheld a decision of the Higher Regional Court of Vienna (OLG) made in February 2017 on the extradition of Ukrainian billionaire Dmytro Firtash to the United States.

The court consistently rejected all arguments presented by defense attorneys, who sought to resume a hearing and the claims against the decision of the prosecutor general of Austria announced in February 2019 an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
