KYIV, June 26 – The National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) is planning to streamline its regulations with the amendments to the law on alternative energy sources, which took effect on May 22, and to regulate the setting of feed-in tariffs for solar and wind power plants at households.
The regulator will consider a relevant draft instruction at a meeting on June 27.
NCER is planning to amend instruction No. 447 dated March 29, 2019 by cancelling feed-in tariffs for solar and wind power plants with a capacity of 20 kWt constructed from January 1, 2020 until December 31, 2024 and from January 1, 2025 until December 31, 2029.
