KIEV, July 28 ??“ Most Ukrainian enterprises expect the hryvnia exchange rate to the U.S. dollar to remain stable, according to a posting on the official Web site of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

The NBU Council expects the average annual exchange rate in 2006 to range between UAH 5.00 and UAH 5.20 per dollar. Under the draft key principles of Ukraine's monetary policy for 2007, next year the rate is expected to vary between UAH 4.95 to UAH 5.25 per dollar.
