KYIV, May 31 – The European Association for Coal and Lignite (EURACOAL) welcomes the launch of the liberalized electricity market in Ukraine from July 1, 2019 as an important step in the development of the country.

The association said this in a letter sent to Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion, Head of the National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation (NCER) Oksana Kryvenko, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy signed by EURACOAL Head Brian Ricketts on Thursday.
