KYIV, May 28 – The volume of cargo transportation on the Dnipro River in the four months of 2019 grew by 140%, to almost 2 million tons, compared to the same period in 2018, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure's infographic, the Rivers of Ukraine association said on its Facebook page.
According to the association, transportation of metal products along the Dnipro River in January-April of this year increased to 231,000 tons, grain up to one million tons, construction materials up to 731,200 tons. Transportation of petroleum products decreased to 4,400 tons.
