KYIV, May 27 – Ukraine will boost natural gas output from abandoned gas wells by 2 billion cubic meters (bcm) due to technology to be provided by Halliburton of the U.S.

Ukrainian national oil and gas company Naftogaz said its wholly owned upstream gas subsidiary Ukrgazvydobuvannia (UGV) had signed a memorandum of understanding with Halliburton to "further enhance their cooperation in providing oil and gas services for the development of hydrocarbon fields in Ukraine."
