BRUSSELS, May 27 – The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague (the Netherlands) from June 10 to June 14 will hold the first hearings in a dispute between Ukraine and Russia regarding Moscow's violation of international maritime law in the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait to determine jurisdiction.
The corresponding announcement was distributed by the court's press service on Friday, May 24.
The hearings will be held at the Peace Palace in The Hague, during which the preliminary objections raised by Russia in a dispute over the rights of littoral states in the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait will be considered.
