KYIV, May 24 – TE Connectivity, a leading manufacturer of electronic components for various industries, has decided by the end of this year to close its Tyco Electronics Ukraine Limited plant in Ivano-Frankivsk, which has been manufacturing cable for the leading automotive brands for over 10 years.

"According to the results of a thorough assessment of the current activity of TE Connectivity at the international level, the corporation intends to terminate the main production activities of TE Automotive in Ivano-Frankivsk," the company told Interfax-Ukraine.
