KYIV, May 27 – Ukraine will try to qualify for a loan from the International Monetary Fund before parliamentary election, Oleksandr Danyliuk, the top economic adviser of President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, said.

The comment comes in response to IMF Spokesman Gerry Rice saying the IMF is waiting for the parliamentary election and the formation of the new government later this year before releasing the loan.
