KYIV, May 15 – The operator of the oil transport system of Ukraine, JSC Ukrtransnafta, and Russia's Transneft are negotiating the agreement on compensation of expenses for displacing non-merchantable oil from the Druzhba oil pipeline, the press service of Ukrtransnafta wrote on the company's Facebook page.
"Since the settlement of this issue is not provided for by the existing agreement on the provision of services for the transit of Russian oil, which Transneft ordered, the parties decided to negotiate a supplement to the existing agreement, according to which the settlement will take place, terms and conditions for compensation of additional expenses will be determined by Ukrtransnafta," Ukrtransnafta said, following the results of relevant discussions in Bratislava.
