KYIV, May 14 – President-elect Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he will act as guarantor for each large investor arriving in the country. He backs the opinion of banking society that the cornerstone for ensuring economic growth and attracting foreign investment is judicial reform and the protection of the rights of investors and lenders.
The press service of Zelensky said that he gave his views during a meeting with heads of leading foreign banks in Ukraine - members of Forum for Leading International Financial Institutions (FLIFI) on Tuesday, as well as with representatives of the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine (NABU). Representatives of Zelensky's team Aivaras Abromavicius, Oleksandr Danyliuk, Andriy Bohdan, Ivan Bakanov and Viktoria Strakhova were present at the meeting.
