KYIV, May 3 – The share of Russian exports to Ukraine in January-March 2019 compared with the figure for the same period of 2018 fell by 16.4%, to $595 million, or 5.3% of the total volume, according to preliminary data posted on the website National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
At the same time, in annual terms the figure for the reporting period decreased by 8.8%, to $1.744 billion, or 13% of the total amount.
Ukrainian exports to the CIS fell by 7.9%, to $1.613 billion, with a share of exports being 13.2% of the total volume. Imports from these countries during this period decreased by 6.8%, to $2.951 billion, or 22.1% of total imports, according to the report.
