KYIV, April 23 – Ukraine is forced to deploy a large number of natural gas power generating units to balance growing number of solar power plants and wind farms, Ukrenergo Head Vsevolod Kovalchuk said.

He suggested holding auctions for companies that seek to build solar power and wind generating capacity in order to control the demand.
