KYIV, April 5 - The missiles used with the newly modernized Vilkha M system can destroy targets at a twice longer distance than those that the Ukrainian Armed Forces currently have in their inventory, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said following tests at a range in Odesa region on April 4.

The serial production of the Vilkha missile system commissioned for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, "whose guided missiles accurately hit targets at a distance of 70 kilometers," started in 2018, the National Security and Defense Council quoted Turchynov as saying.
