KYIV, March 1 – The small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) sentiments index fell to 2.7 points in July-December 2018 from 3.2 points in July-December 2017 (a scale from 0 to 5), according to a study published on the website of the European Business Association (EBA) on Thursday.
"Compared to last year, it has become more difficult to work for SME in Ukraine. The deterioration of sentiment affected both the current situation and plans for the future. The number of people dissatisfied with the tax burden, the level of corruption, the continuation of the war in the east, the vulnerability of the judicial system increased," EBA Executive Director Anna Derevyanko said, presenting the results of the study.
