KYIV, Feb 28 – Electricity consumption in Ukraine in January increased by 3.6% (by 522.3 million kWh) compared to the same period last year, to 15.204 billion kWh, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has told Interfax-Ukraine.

Without taking into account in-process consumption, electricity consumption for the last month rose by 4.1% (by 465.3 million kWh), to 11.824 billion kWh.
