KYIV, Feb 22 – Retail trade turnover in Ukraine in comparable prices in January increased by 6.3% compared to January 2018, the State Statistics Service reported.

According to its data, in January 2019 retail trade turnover compared with December 2018 decreased by 23%.

The largest increase in the retail trade turnover of enterprises (legal entities and individual entrepreneurs) in January 2019 compared with January 2018 was recorded in Kyiv (by 11.3%), Ivano-Frankivsk (10.8%), Donetsk (9.8%), Zakarpattia (8.7%), Rivne and Vinnytsia (8.6%), Ternopil (8.4%), and Lviv regions (8.2%).
