KYIV, Feb 21 - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the near future will provide funding for a number of large renewable energy facilities in Ukraine.

Senior Banker of the EBRD's Power and Energy Projects Department Olga Yeriomina said during the conference "The Auction System for Renewable Power Industry Support in Ukraine," work on these facilities had started even before the bank stopped accepting applications for new projects for the construction of solar power plants due to a non-availability of the approved law on "green" auctions.
