KYIV, Feb 14 – The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in 2018 was estimated at $5.83 billion, which is 130% wider than in 2017, the State Statistics Service reported on Thursday.
Taking into account previously published data, the deficit in the fourth quarter of 2018 (Q4 2018) alone amounted to about $2.38 billion, or 70% wider than in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Exports of goods and services in 2018 grew by 8.6%, to $57.12 billion, while imports rose by 14.3%, to $62.94 billion, the statistics service said.
