DAVOS, Jan 29 - The Ukrainian power system will need up to three years to make changes to accept the additional 700-800 MW of wind capacity, the construction of which was previously announced by the Norwegian company NBT, Vsevolod Kovalchuk, the head of Ukrenergo, said in Davos.
"If to ask whether we are ready to issue such technical conditions tomorrow, then, of course, the answer would be "no," because it is almost impossible now in the south of Ukraine without significant infrastructure transformations and changes in the structure of generating capacities to issue additional capacities of large volumes," he said.
