KYIV, Jan 14 – The Ukrainian hryvnia as of January 2019 is undervalued to the U.S. dollar by 65.2%, according to the Big Mac index calculated by The Economist magazine based on the price of a burger at McDonald's fast food restaurants in different countries.

The cost of Big Mac burger in Ukraine is UAH 54, and in the United States it is $5.58. The exchange rate [implying purchasing-power parity] is UAH 9.68 per $1, The Economist said in documents on its website.
