KYIV, Jan 2 - Ukraine reduced transit of natural gas through its gas transportation system (GTS) by 7.1%, or 6.677 billion cubic meters (bcm), in 2018 year-on-year to 86.779 bcm, according to operational data from PJSC Ukrtransgaz.

Transit of gas through Ukraine to Europe amounted to 83.839 bcm in 2018 (down 7.6% year-on-year) and to Moldova 2.939 bcm (up 8.6%), according to Interfax calculations.
