KYIV, Dec 27 – The Etalon Corporation, a leading Ukrainian manufacturer of vehicles, in the middle of 2019 plans to launch mass production of the new low-deck 12-meter bus À12210 (Astra) with a passenger capacity of over 100 people, Director of Chernihiv Automobile Plant, which is part of the corporation, Valeriy Kuptsov has said.

"A first sample of the bus has been designed and assembled. It meets Euro 5 emission standards and is capable to transport passengers on wheelchairs. He has the 230 hp engine made by India's Ashok Leyland," he said at a press conference on Wednesday.
