KYIV, Dec 12 - The National Commission for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services (NCER) has approved the increase in the weighted average tariff of Ukrenergo for electricity transmission in 2019 by 19.3%, to 5.93 kopecks per kWh (excluding VAT).

The decision was made at a meeting of the commission on December 12.

According to the approved decision, in the first quarter of 2019 the tariff will be 4.22 kopecks/kWh, in the second quarter some 7.1 kopecks/kWh, in the third quarter some 5.74 kopecks/kWh, and in the fourth quarter some 6.85 kopecks/kWh.
