KYIV, Dec 10 – Over 40% of Ukrainians are ready to bear material constraints for the sake of own personal freedom and guarantee of observation of all civil rights, while 23% are convinced that address to mass media is the effective way to protect human rights, according to a poll conducted by the Human Rights Information Center and the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation.

According to the poll, 45% of Ukrainians are ready to bear some material constraints for the sake of own personal freedom and guarantee of observation of all civil rights, 23.2% are ready to cede part of their rights and civil freedoms in exchange to own well-being.
