KYIV, Nov 29 – The profit of Ukrainian banks for the ten months of 2018 amounted to UAH 14.8 billion, which is seven times more than the figure for the same period in 2017, First Deputy Head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Yekateryna Rozhkova has said.

"For the first time since 2013, the banking sector could reach profitable business," she wrote on her Facebook page.

Rozhkova added that in October the banks saw a profit of UAH 3.9 billion.
