Antimonopoly Committee asks Sun InBev to remove ‘eco’ labels from beer bottles
Journal Staff Report

KYIV, Nov 28 – The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has recommended PJSC Sun InBev Ukraine (Kyiv), a large brewing company in Ukraine, and 10 other companies to remove signs "eco," "ecological," and similar signs from their labels of products, as they mislead consumers, and refrain from these actions in the future.

The respective recommendations were published on the website of the committee on Wednesday.

The committee said that on July 25, 2014, when Sun InBev Ukraine started using the sign "eco" in its operations in Ukraine, the country did not have authorized bodies involved in environment certification.
