Ukrainian coal reserves up 27.2% on year in January-October

KYIV, Nov 28 – The supply of imported coal to Ukrainian thermal power plants (TPP) and combined heat and power plants (CHPP) in January-October 2018 amounted to 4.287 million tons, which is 27.2% more than in the same period of 2017 (3.371 million tons).

The Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry told Interfax-Ukraine, in particular, 3.400 million tons of coal (a share of 79.3%) came from the Russian Federation, 742,500 tons from the United States (17.3%), and 144,800 tons (3.4%) from South Africa.
