KIEV, July 5 ??“ Datagroup, Ukraine??™s fast growing phone and data transmission company, said it plans to acquire up to seven small regional companies seeking to consolidate itself into a leading telecommunication firm.

Datagroup will spend $65 million on modernization and acquisition in 2006, including $10 million to buy the regional phone service providers, a company official said.
