DNIPRO, Nov 8 - The construction of railway lines to connect the Luhanska thermal power plant, which had to switch to natural gas instead of anthracite supplies from the Russian Federation, with the rest of Ukraine could cost about UAH 1 billion, DTEK Energy's CEO Dmytro Sakharuk said at a briefing in Dnipro.
"The construction of the railway may take one year if the issue is addressed systematically. According to our estimates, the construction can cost about UAH 1 billion," he said, adding that the length of the railway track can be as long as 40 km.
